After three successful conferences earlier this year and last year, the PHPBenelux team is proud to announce the 4th edition of the PHPBenelux Conference. Like last year, the conference will last two full days, starting with a half day tutorial followed by 1.5 days of conference. The conference is on Friday 25th January and Saturday 26th January 2013 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Become part of this year's speaker schedule at the PHPBenelux Conference 2013. Each chosen speaker receives a speaker package!
About the talks
The duration of each talk is 60 minutes. This includes Questions and Answers time (Q&A). Generally the talk itself lasts 50 minutes and Q&A 10 minutes.
A workshop lasts 3 hours, and includes preferably hands-on and Q&A time.
How to submit your topic(s)
The last day for submissions is October 1, 2012 12:00:00 CET. You can submit your topics using the form on the Call For Proposals page. If you have multiple ideas, please use the form multiple times to submit each idea.
We are looking for and welcome any topic that contributes to improving the skills of PHP web developers. Some examples for talks, but not limited to, are:
- Content Management Systems
- Best practises
- General and in depth programming skills
- HTML5 & co (with a PHP twist)
- <your topic>
For more inspiration take a look at last years subjects, but keep in mind that preference will be given to new/original talks that address the above subjects.
When in doubt, submit your proposal, and let us decide on whether it fits the conference. The CfP is open until October 1, 2012 12:00:00 CET. So please don't hesitate and submit your proposal.
You are eligible for the speaker package if your topic is chosen for our conference. Our speaker package includes:
- pick-up service from airport/train to the hotel
- two or three hotel nights
- full access to the conference
- an invitation to the speakers dinner
- up to 300 euro of reimbursement for travel expenses
If you already submitted your topic(s)
As long as the deadline for sending in topics is not yet exceeded, this allows you more time to resubmit topics that are less likely to be outdated by the time the conference is held.
Should you have any questions related to submitting your call for proposals and talks, please contact us. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
