As an extra, DPDK will be organizing a BBQ!
Ow, and if you think that’s all then we have yet another thing going on: this meetup also celebrates our third anniversary!
So come on over to celebrate, eat a hopefully delicious hamburger, and have a good time with us.
A Hitchhikers guide to … Docker – Ron van der Molen
In an ever evolving world where we have to follow trend after trend its sometimes hard to keep up with how server infrastructure is also moving forward. Not inching but drastically changing.
In the past we used to host on real dedicated servers, an expensive process that also required a lot of maintenance and support.
Now in 2016, we can automate application distribution by deploying microservices with Docker. As hard as this might sound for you right now, after my talk you will have a basic understanding of how Docker works and what it can do for you. For now… Don’t Panic.
Level up your team – Stefan Koopmanschap
As a tech lead, team lead or other senior-level member of a development team, you may at any time run into the problem where you want your team members to improve themselves or to get involved in community or other projects, but you have a hard time actually pushing your team members in the right direction. This talk will help you with practical tips and tricks and examples from the workfloor on how to get developers to push themselves to their limits and level up.
